District Attorney Charges One For Arcata Homicide
Just one of the three arrested for the Arcata stabbing death will face murder charges from the Humboldt County District Attorney's office. Juan Joseph Ferrer will be charged for the homicide of Douglas Allen Anderson-Jordet who was found unresponsive by police at 12th and H Street on Nov. 25.
Sophie Buttercup Rocheleau and Nicholas Benjamin Stoiber are charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm despite being arrested by Arcata Police and charged for the homicide.
Ferrer was arrested by Arcata Police at his home last week following an investigation by the department. Stoiber and Rocheleau were brought into the Arcata Police Department for questioning and were then arrested.
