DEL NORTE - An Ashland, Oregon woman is in custody today after a fatal hit and run crash.
According to the CHP, 51-year-old Ying Blackwell was traveling southbound on Highway 101 south of Sandmine Road when a male pedestrian walked into traffic. Blackwell was unable to avoid the pedestrian and struck him, causing fatal injuries. Blackwell continued on in her vehicle but was later found near the 101 south of Wilson Creek Road. She was arrested for felony hit and run.
