Duputies stop father from driving with daughter on the car roof
McKinleyville - Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies stumbled upon quite a scene in McKinleyville on Tuesday. Authorities say an argument between a father and his 18-year old daughter over allowing her to drive to college in her car got out of hand. A second 24-year old daughter tried to keep the father from driving off with the vehicle. He did anyway with her on the roof of the car.
Deputies happened to be in the neighborhood as the father drove down the road with the daughter flagging down law enforcement from the top of the vehicle. The 63-year old father yielded to authorities after several blocks.
The daughter received a minor injury in the incident by did not want to press charges. No arrests have been made.
