EPD hosts Home Gun Safety & Security Expo

EUREKA – Have you ever been curious about gun safety and security? Well, the Eureka Polices Department are hosting a two-day event that will be discussing and demonstrating just that.

Today kicked off project S.A.F.E. an effort that brings community members and law enforcement together.

At the Bayshore Mall locals got the chance to attend the expo to get a lesson in home-safety, the responsibilities in gun ownership, and even a look at home security systems featured in the area.

The event continues tomorrow from 11 to 4.

On the 24th and 25th of April, the Police Department will be having a buy-back from 8 AM to 5 PM. You can bring your gun to the police department, no questions asked.
