EUREKA - Eureka Police responded to an alarm at a local business and discovered a burglary in progress.
This past Tuesday at 6:30 am, officers arrived near the 200-block of F Street and discovered two unknown suspects had forced entry then left the scene carrying several items of merchandise. Law enforcement followed leads and a day later conducted a probation search at the 800-block of A Street. Three men were detained and one suspect was seen fleeing from the back of the residence. During a search, property from the business was identified as stolen.
No suspects have been arrested. The investigation continues. Officials with the Police Department are encouraging all business owners to have security alarms.
