ARCATA- A Eureka man on probation is back in custody after allegedly having a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his vehicle.
At 4 a.m. Saturday in Arcata, Joseph Greek was pulled over on the 1600 block of Giuntoli Lane for expired registration.
Greek had several felony warrants for his arrest, for the illegal possession of a firearm and is on Humboldt County Probation.
In the vehicle, officers allegedly found a loaded .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun with the serial number filed off.
Greek was arrested for several charges including being a felon in possession of a firearm.
