EUREKA- Students at Eureka High School celebrated the Chinese New Year at lunch on Friday. The high school's multicultural center organized the event that educated students on the traditional Chinese holiday.
Students cooked egg rolls and tea for their classmates and played traditional Chinese games. Betty Chin visited the students and told them about the different traditions practiced on the holiday.
25 multicultural club members have been recycling items to raise money to buy the food to make for the 400 high school students, and try to celebrate different holidays around the world.
