Arcata Police Department did not reveal their exact plans for Halloween this Thursday, but did say it will look like last year.
"We're not expecting any huge problems, we're not expecting anything different than past years," said Detective Sergeant Todd Dokweiler.
A fence lined the inner circle of the Arcata Plaza last year. The fence was put up that was put upp following the 2011 Halloween night where people climbed and jumped off the William McKinnley statue. That year Police made 30 arrests.
Dokweiler said the department will increase staffing like they do in holidays like Halloween and New Years.
"Halloween has always been a busy holiday for Arcata," said Dokweiler.
