ARCATA- Police are looking for the person that left an explosive inside an Arcata motel room. According to Arcata Police a can sized explosive device was found hidden inside a room by a housekeeper Wednesday night.
The owner of the motel removed the device from the room while officers were on their way said Det. Sgt. Todd Dokweiler. Police inspected the device and determined that it was inactive. The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office bomb unit were contacted to properly remove the device.
