Family holds candle light vigil for missing Fortuna woman
FORTUNA- Fortuna woman, Danielle Nicole brooks has been missing for almost a month. Detectives told News Channel 3 they are now investigating some new leads.
Thursday, March 6th was Danielle’s 24th birthday, and last night the family held a candle light vigil at Rohnert Park.
At first investigators thought she was dropped off in the Fortuna area, but now authorities told us Danielle was last seen getting into a vehicle in the Swains Flat area on February 9th.
Her mother, Billie Jo Dick, said her last contact with Danielle was January 29th. Billie Jo added, "she gave so much life and so much energy to everybody and we were robbed of it. So it's hard for everybody. It's hard for us to all get here like this. I'm kind of at a loss for words other than I love my daughter and I want her home,"
Anyone who has information surrounding her disappearance is asked to call the Fortuna Police Department at 725-7550.
