FERNDALE - A Ferndale man is taken into custody after law enforcement serves a warrant and he allegedly bites one of the officers. Arrested Monday was William James Lorenzen.
Ferndale Police working with the Department of Fish and Wildlife served a felony warrant that included multiple offenses at the 100-block of Dhillon Road. Officers say when they tried to arrest Lorenzen, he resisted by kicking, spitting and biting one of the officers. Eventually he was taken into custody and booked into the Humboldt County Jail. In addition to the warrant, Lorenzen was charged with violently resisting arrest and battery of police officers.
