Smoke sent fire crews to the Courthouse today...the second call of its kind in two weeks.
Officials say Humboldt Sheriff Deputies noticed a light haze of smoke...they immediately pulled the fire alarm and trucks were on the way. Fire Officials say it is still to early to know what caused the smoke today...Two weeks ago a malfunctioning elevator control motor caused large amounts of smoke and a burning plastic smell. Protocols established from that event helped this time. The evacuation of Court House personnel and visitors was carried out quickly in a safe and efficient manner.
