UPDATE- The fire that broke out Thursday afternoon near Dinsmore has been extinguished. According to the Six Rivers National Forest, the Swayback fire erupted on Burr Road off Highway 36 just before 4 p.m. The blaze burned just under an acre. Crews will continue to monitor the area for the next few days.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
