ARCATA- The Creamery District in Arcata is expected to come alive this weekend as the first ever Creamery Festival takes place. Stilt walkers, vaudeville, and live music will take place in the area.
The City of Arcata has been working to establish the Creamery District as a central location for art in Humboldt County.
The district is home to the Arcata Playhouse, the Kinetic Sculpture Lab and multiple dance and art studios.
The event starts Friday at 8:00PM and is free to the public for the first day. Multiple other events run on Saturday and Sunday. More information on the event can be found at http://creameryfestival.com/.
