Food For People to distribute drought kits

EUREKA - Low income households will be getting a helping hand in dealing with the drought.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is making available drought tool kits that will help conserve limited water resources during the statewide drought. One hundred kits from Home Depot will be distributed by Food for People. Each kit contains a low-flow shower head, faucet aerators, a garden hose nozzle with shut off valve, toilet leak detectors and a shower timer in a five gallon bucket.
