Forced entry made through window of rectory, murder suspect arraigment set for Monday
EUREKA- Eureka Police Department said video surveillance from outside of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church shows murder suspect Gary Bullock on the property the night Rev. Eric Freed was killed.
Detectives were at the church Friday afternoon collecting more evidence and tell News Channel Three that Bullock made forced entry through a window to the rectory.
Bullock remains in custody at the Humboldt County Jail and Eureka’s Police Chief Andrew Mills remains confident that Bullock is the man responsible for the Reverend's death,
“There is no doubt in our mind, we have really clear video of the suspect coming and leaving the residence. The next step is for him to be re-interviewed and then arraigned. The coroner will do the autopsy on the victim Saturday sometime.”
Bullock will appear for his arraignment Monday and is being charged with one count of homicide with his bail set at $1 million.
