Fortuna Police receives suspicious piece of mail, department quarantined
The Fortuna Police Department is up and running again after it was placed under quarantine Thursday afternoon. According to Chief of Police William Dobberstein, the department received a suspicious piece of mail, which contained a white powdery substance. The hazmat crew was called in to clear the scene.
