The city of Fortuna is looking for your help in finishing the design for the Strong’s Creek Bike and Pedestrian trail.

The trail is part of Fortuna’s John Campbell Memorial Greenway. In 2013, property owners and stake holder’s groups met in a series of meetings and an initial design fair. A public review of the draft master plan has been released.

Initial stages of the proposed trail and linear park will follow Strongs Creek for 1.6 miles from Highway 101 to Newburg Park and will provide recreational and commuter access for pedestrians, bicyclists and potentially equestrians.
