EUREKA- A four-car crash sent two people to the hospital and shut down part of a street in Eureka. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on 6th and H Streets. The Eureka Police Department said a blue Volvo was driving westbound on 6th Street when it collided with a silver PT Cruiser that was driving southbound on H Street.
Officers said one of the drivers likely ran a red light. According to police after the cars hit, the Volvo spun out of control and rear-ended a parked car on 6th Street, which then rear-ended another parked car in front of it.
It is unknown who ran the red light; the crash is still under investigation.
