Free seeds for your Spring garden
Now that Spring is here you might be thinking about planting a garden. The Department of Health and Human Services’ Mobile Outreach is offering free vegetable seed packets to help kick start that garden. Community members can visit the traveling vehicle at one of its scheduled stops around the county through the end of this month.
The Mobile Outreach program is geared toward supporting healthy living. “It’s good to see people learn to become self-sufficient. They get outside, they get exercise, they grow good healthy food, so it’s just a very healthy activity and a good thing to see our community get involved with.” said, the Program Coordinator of Mobile Outreach, Doug Moyer.
