A federal judge made his decision Thursday to lift a restraining order which prevented Trinity River from being released into the Klamath.
The federal judge made his decision after listening to testimony from local tribes about how important the water is to prevent another fish kill. Members from the Hoopa Valley Tribe were protesting at Westland Water District on Wednesday.
Westland argues that they will loose water from the Trinity if it is released into the Klamath.
In the next few days water is expected to be released from the Trinity rivers.
