Hash lab, butane, marijuana and loaded handgun found in Arcata home
ARCATA- Authorities found an alleged hash lab with growing marijuana, multiple cans of butane and a loaded handgun at an Arcata home.
The Humboldt County Drug Task Force and Arcata Police served a search warrant on the 1200 block of Delvin Court Friday morning. Authorities found four people inside the home. During the search authorities allegedly found a hash lab, 75 growing marijuana plants, two pounds of hash, ten pounds of marijuana leaves, three hash manufacturing pipes, empty butane cases and a .45 caliber semi automatic handgun with a loaded magazine.
Two men were arrested during the search. Authorities arrested one man for resisting arrest and identified him as William Jacob Seitz, 23, from San Diego. Police interviewed the remaining suspects inside the home and determined they were visiting and released them.
Kacey Ray Chunn, 33, was identified as the resident of the home and was arrested for cultivation and possession for sale of marijuana, manufacturing a controlled substance, armed in the commission of a felony and maintaining a drug house. He was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and is being held on $525,000 bail.
