A huge moment in the history of the Klamath River is about to be realized. The Historic Klamath Basin Water Agreement will be signed this Friday.
Members of the Klamath Tribes and Upper Basin Water Users have come together and developed solutions to water issues affecting the region. The agreement represents an historic milestone for what many call one of the most complex and contentious natural water wars in the west. The agreement will be signed Friday, April 18th in Collier State Park which is 30-miles north of Klamath Falls. Governors, Senators, Federal Officials and Tribal Chairs will attend.
