ARCATA - A Hoopa man was taken into custody after allegedly brandishing a knife and robbing two juveniles.
Arcata Police arrested 18-year old Stephen Noble. Yesterday just before 4 pm, law enforcement was called to the 1700 block of Alliance Road. Two male youths told authorities they were walking along the road when Noble came out of the woods demanding the boys give him their skateboards and backpack while brandishing a large hunting knife. The suspect then fled on foot into a wooded area behind the 2300 block of Westwood Court.
A K-9 unit was brought in and Noble was found and taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Humboldt County Jail for robbery and resisting or obstructing an officer.
