Hoopa Valley High School receives prestigious "Apple" grant
HOOPA - Hoopa Valley High School students will soon reap some major benefits thanks to a recent Connect-Ed Grant from Apple Computers.
It’s not just a bunch of equipment that has been given to the school but a comprehensive learning program. It will provide one-on-one technology for every student, teacher and administrator. IPad, Mac Books, tech support and software will allow students to have their entire curriculum at their fingertips. School officials believe it will have a huge impact. It will also allow them to open up the network to include not only the high school but the community as well.
The program could be in place before the New Year. Hoopa Valley is one of 114 schools nationwide to receive the grant.
