HSU Wildlife students win national quiz competition
ARCATA - Humboldt State University Wildlife students took first place in a recent national competition. It was the 17th Annual Wildlife Quiz Bowl held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The competition challenges undergraduate students to see who can rack up the most points answering questions ranging from taxonomy to wildlife management. HSU bested teams from Tennessee, University of Georgia, Murray State and the University of Maine.
HSU has a long tradition of quiz bowl success. This is the 14th year they have participated and the 10th time they has won in the 17-year history of the competition.
