Humboldt County joins Rural County Representatives of California
NORTH COAST- Humboldt County joined 33 other rural counties in the state serving on a committee dedicated in bringing to light pressing issues communities face along the North Coast. Some of those issues include water needs, federal forestry management practices, and unfair fees on rural property owners.
Humboldt is now the 34th county to join, with first District Supervisor Rex Bohn representing the county. The RCRC provides legislative and regulatory representation at the state and federal levels and meets six times per year.
Bohn says by becoming a part of the committee, it allows Humboldt County to partner with and voice important issues that affect the North Coast.
