Humboldt County Sheriff's Department wants public's help in identifying wanted man
LOLETA – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspected drug dealer who led them on a high-speed chase last Thursday. This image captured from surveillance footage at Bear River Casino shows the man wanted by authorities.
On October 16, a citizen who observed a drug deal between two motorcyclists near the casino flagged a sheriff’s deputy down. A short time later, the deputy attempted to stop one on the motorcyclists who failed to yield at a stop sign. The motorcyclist carried a large duffle bag allegedly full of marijuana. The suspect fled on a blue 2006 Yamaha motorcycle and led authorities on a high-speed chase up and down highway 101 exceeding 100-miles per hour before slipping away on Hookton Road near College of the Redwoods.
Anyone with information on this case or who can identity the suspect is asked to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
