Humboldt County Supervisors respond to Grand Jury Report
EUREKA- The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors will discuss their responses to this year’s Grand Jury Report on Tuesday for the first time.
Among one of the most highly contested issues in the report that the supervisors will address is late night jail releases. In the report, the jury recommended eliminating late night jail releases, giving detainees their money back when released and issuing bus passes to out of town inmates. The supervisors will discuss their stance on that and other issues, as well as whether the county plans to meet those recommendations during their morning session.
