Humboldt jobless rate down. Lowest since 2008
There’s good news regarding jobs here on the North Coast. Humboldt County’s preliminary unemployment rate has "not" changed from eight percent from February. January’s revised rate was the same. The county is down one percent from February of last year. This is Humboldt County’s lowest February jobless rate since 2008.
Humboldt County remained ranked twenty-second in the state's counties. Del Norte at eleven percent and Siskiyou County with fifteen percent were considerably higher. Marin County had the lowest unemployment rate at four percent.
