The Humboldt Dog Obedience Group or HUMDOG is holding their 27th Annual Dog Expo March 9th from 10-4:00 pm at Redwood Ccres Fairgrounds in Eureka.
The free day of family fun will feature two buildings with 50-booths where the public can meet forty breeds of dogs, breeders and pet owners. In addition, dog rescue groups, service dog organizations, and vendor will be on hand. There will be demonstrations held throughout the day.
This year’s event features a special kid’s drawing for youth ages 5-12. Through participation, youth earn tickets for the drawing that features a town bike donated by Revolution Bicycles and gift certificates donated from the Toy Box, Fin-n-Feather and HUMDOG.
Watch specially trained dogs display their talents, including dog agility, obedience, tricks, dancing with dogs, police work, nose work and the ever popular parade of breeds. A final note; dogs not registered as part of the event cannot be admitted.
