The hunt for fugitive Shane Miller gains national attention
HUMBOLDT COUNTY- It’s been over a year since the hunt for Shane Miller first began. He’s the former Humboldt County man wanted in the death of his wife and two young daughters in Shasta County.
The search is now gaining national attention. On Sunday night, Miller was featured on CNN’s premiere episode of “The Hunt With John Walsh.” Following the episode Humboldt County investigator Todd Fulton was interviewed on CNN Monday morning. He tells us the Sheriff’s Office alone has received over 100 tips, and hopes all the national attention will bring in more viable leads.
"You have to go through them one by one and see which one is viable and what are just rumor. I'm sure some of the stuff that's going to be coming in is some of the stuff we may already know. But there is areas outside of here, that if brought to their attention… we're hoping that is where we'll get the most leads,” said Fulton.
