Klamath trio arrested after attacking Sheriff Deputy

KLAMATH- A Klamath woman is arrested after allegedly head butting and wrestling a Sheriff Deputy. It happened around 1 a.m. on Silverside Circle in Klamath on Monday, after a deputy with the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call. When he arrived on scene authorities said 20-year-old Mistey Ridenour, who appeared to be intoxicated, allegedly charged at the deputy. At that point the sheriff’s office says 21-year-old Cody Bates and 36 year old Robert Ray both of Klamath, charged at the deputy and threatened to kill him if he didn’t release her. The deputy responded by pulling out his taser and tased the two men.
When more deputies arrived on scene, the three were arrested and booked into the Del Norte County Jail. As for the deputy he suffered minor injuries.
