Lanes still blocked on 101 near Benbow from rock slide
BENBOW - Some lanes of Highway 101 near Benbow Lake road have been blocked more than a day now due to a rockslide Thursday night.
The northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Benbow were blocked beginning Thursday due to debris in the roadway.
Traffic was reduced to one lane each way.
This evening, Caltrans is expecting to open the northbound lane two, though lane one will remain closed. Geologists were on scene again Friday addressing the slide. They will determine if work needs to be done in the area before traffic can return to normal.
