Burr Valley - Two are arrested after police serve a search warrant off of Highway 36 in Burr Valley near Bridgeville.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested 51 year old Jean Marie Gaddy and 53 year old Robert Blaine Gilcrease both of Washington. When searching the property, law enforcement found over 1500 growing marijuana plants, nearly $37,000 in cash, 23 pounds of marijuana, 3 ounces of methamphetamine, scales and other drug associated items. Authorities found environmental damage to a wetland spring as well.
Gilcrease and Gaddy were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana for sale, and cultivation.Bail set at $50,000 each. Additional criminal charges for environmental damage may be sought. The investigation continues.
