On the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination a local art gallery pays tribute to the former President.
Chuck Bowden, a local collector, has been gathering memorabilia and newspapers on the President for the past 20 years. Bowden put the items on display for the community to enjoy and remember the day he was murdered.
"The shot rang out and I couldn't believe it at first," said Ernestine Porro who saw the event unfold fifty years ago.
The event will be on display at the Main Street Art Gallery in Fortuna until the end of December.
