Local chocolatiers cook up sweet treats for Valentine's Day
EUREKA- Valentine's Day is one of the busiest holidays for Chocolate stores as they prepare to sell hundreds of sweet treats. Chocolatiers work around the clock days before the holiday in preparation for gift buyers.
"Everybody is coming in till the last minute," said Jonah Ginsburg, owner of Venlo Chocolates in Eureka.
Ginsburg said Valentine's Day is busy like Christmas, but customers cram their gift buying into the day before and the day of the holiday. "It's fun, but hectic," he said. The store has already sold 500 chocolate gift boxes and plans to be busy until closing Friday night.
