On Friday, August 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. there will be training scenarios taking place near Commercial and 4th streets in Eureka. The scenarios are part of the College of the Redwoods Crime Scene Investigators Course:
Man allegedly crashes pickup truck into three parked cars in Eureka
EUREKA- An Arcata man has been charged with a felony hit and run and DUI after a collision that took place in Old Town Eureka just before midnight on Sunday.
EPD officials confirm Kyle Lee Payton, who was born in 1991, allegedly crashed his white Dodge Ram into three parked cars in the 200 block of E Street. Shortly after, police located Payton on the 1000 block of C Street. Payton was driving two other passengers, and one sustained minor injuries. No one else was injured in the incident. Payton has since been booked in the Humboldt County Jail.
