On Friday, August 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. there will be training scenarios taking place near Commercial and 4th streets in Eureka. The scenarios are part of the College of the Redwoods Crime Scene Investigators Course:
Man and woman arrested on multiple drug charges in Eureka
A man and a woman were arrested for multiple drug charges after Sheriff’s Deputies discover them parked with a blanket covering their windows. Deputies patrolling near the Fairhaven boat ramp, initiated contact with the occupants of the vehicle to check their welfare. The driver identified himself as 28-year old Dusty Wayne Titus on felony probation out of Siskiyou County. A female in the car, 38-year old Susan Yvette Crowl from Fortuna was asked by the Deputy if any illegal substances were in the car.
Crowl said she possessed a glass pipe and methamphetamine along with a digital scale. Upon further investigation, Deputies found over one gram of Meth, 15 grams of Hash and 47 Oxycontin pills along with some dried Marijuana. Titus and Crowl were booked into the Humboldt County Jail with an assortment of drug charges and probation charges.
