GARBERVILLE- A Crescent City man rolled his car Friday afternoon after officers said he fell asleep at the wheel. It happened 1 p.m. on southbound 101 just north of Salmon Creek and south of Myers Flat. Officers said 34-year old Ryan Ellis, 34 dozed off and drifted onto the shoulder, overcorrected, and rolled his car. The car landed and blocked both the north and southbound lanes of traffic. California Highway Patrol said he suffered minor injuries and no other cars were involved.
