Man found bleeding on the side of Wabash Avenue in Eureka
EUREKA- A man is being treated at Saint Joseph Hospital after bystanders found him bleeding on the side of the road in Eureka.
An officer with Eureka Police Department told us that at about 2:45 p.m., someone reported a man bleeding in the road who was possibly hit by a car. The man was found bleeding from a cut above his eye and had a scuff on his knee on Wabash avenue next to the intersection of William Street. He did not tell police officers what happened. Officials say there were no witnesses and no one who lives nearby heard a car accident. Police also could not find skid marks on the road, but are not ruling out a hit and run at this time.
