FORTUNA - A Fortuna patrol car is out of service Tuesday after an arrestee allegedly busted out the entire rear window with his head. Fortuna police were taking Torrence Miller into custody for a felony robbery, domestic violence, and false imprisonment early Tuesday morning. Miller was reportedly under the influence and combative as he was arrested. While officers were handcuffing him against the side of a patrol vehicle, he head-butted the rear window and completely shattered it. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and then taken to jail. Miller is charged with felony vandalism for the damage to the car.
