Man Wanted For Battery Of A Crescent City Police Officer

CRESCENT CITY – Swinging punches at police – the man wanted for battery of an officer is identified.

27-year-old Brent Daniel Morrison is suspected of assaulting a Crescent City officer early Monday.

Morrison was riding a bike and appeared to be under the influence when an officer conducted a traffic stop.

While trying to detain him, Morrison punched the officer several times in the face and head and before he fled on foot.

If you do see him, do not attempt to stop him yourself, as he is considered dangerous.
