Miller died from single gunshot to head
Shane Miller, the man accused of shooting his two young daughters and wife, died from a single gun shot wound to the head, and officials said he most likely committed suicide.
The Humboldt County Coroner's Office with an anthropologist from Humboldt State University reviewed Miller's remains on Tuesday to determine his exact cause of death.
Miller's remains were found near Petrolia last week. Law enforcement have been looking for him for over a year after the triple murder in Shasta County.
