The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office has an update on a missing person. Kenneth Ray Richards who was reported missing by his mother late last month has been located. She had told deputies that her son was taking care of her house while she was gone. When she returned he was missing. One witness told Sheriff’s deputies they had seen Richards near the intersection of Quinn and Table Bluff roads and he seemed disoriented.
Well, today good news. Mr. Richards has been found in Redwood Valley area of Mendocino County. A male had been reported as a suspicious person outside a church. When questioned he seemed disoriented. He was wearing a sweatshirt with “Humboldt” printed on it. The lettering prompted investigators to send his picture to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office who identified the subject as the missing person. Richard’s mother was notified that he was located.
