New Mental Health doctor approval on Humboldt Supervisors' agenda
EUREKA- The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors has a long list of items on Tuesday's agenda, after having last week off.
On the consent calendar, the county is moving forward to address the lack of staffing in the Mental Health Branch. the supervisors plan to appoint Raja Dutta as Chief of Inpatient Psychiatry at Sempervirens. He was recruited by Traditions Behavioral Health.
The supervisors will also vote to pass a two year agreement with nightingale nurses to staff traveling nurses at Mental Health. The nurses will be paid at $70 dollars per hour with total expenditures not to exceed $36,400 per year.
Broadband projects are back on the agenda for Tuesday as well. The board will vote to appoint two members to a broadband committee to oversee projects in Petrolia and Willow Creek as they move forward.
Also, during the supervisors' afternoon session, the board will hear an update on cruise ship recruitment to the North Coast.
