EUREKA- Tri-County Independent Living is working with other North Coast organizations to provide better services for people with disabilities.
Thursday the non-profit met with other social service groups to discuss what type of support they offer and what they could do to better serve the community.
Over 20 different groups participated, and were able to share their background. Area 1 Agency on Aging, Making Headway and College of the Redwoods disabled program were some of the groups in attendance.
The organizations are working to develop a booklet that will list all the resources available for people living with disabilities. They also plan to meet once or twice a year now.
