The American Cancer Society is looking for residents along the North Coast to be part of a nationwide cancer study. The organization is looking for men and women between the ages of 30 to 65 to volunteer to be part of a 20 year study that will look into the persons medical history to.
The study will look at a persons health history over time and see what the people who get cancer have in common. This is the third demographic study the American Cancer Society has conducted. Previous studies have found the correlation between second hand smoke and cancer and how one aspirin can decrease the likelihood of a heart attack.
The American Cancer Society is looking for 200 participants on the North Coast. To participate you need to fill out information on your health history, give a small blood sample and be weighed.
