Nutter pleads "not guilty" to drug charges, remains on administrative leave from Crabs
Humboldt Crabs Baseball Manager Matt Nutter has pleaded not guilty to drug charges.
Nutter was arrested August 12th after a search of his Blue Lake home by the Humboldt County Drug Task Force. They reported finding about 270 marijuana plants growing on the property and five firearms.
Nutter posted bail of $75,000 after his arrest. Monday in court he was arraigned on three marijuana related charges. He’s also facing special allegations of being armed in commission of those felonies. Nutter has also denied the special allegations; he’s set to be back in court in September. He remains on administrative leave from the Crabs baseball organization.
