Officer Involved Shooting In Hoopa

HOOPA- SWAT and the California Highway Patrol are arriving in Hoopa to look for two suspects involved in an officer involved shooting. According to the Hoopa Police Department the officers are not injured. Authorities are looking for the two suspects who fled the scene on foot. 
The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. Monday morning. Officers were attempting to pull over the vehicle after a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle stopped 10 miles up a mountain road after experiencing problems. The passenger allegedly exited the vehicle with an assault rifle and pointed it at the officers. The officers fired at the suspect and the two suspects fled on foot down the mountainside. 
There are no descriptions of the suspects at this time and it is unknown if there are any injuries. Authorities have the area blocked off.
